The most common report we get is a vehicle that turns out to be present under another name. Use GET /api/search with free text before concluding a car is absent. It forgives nicknames, spelling and spacing.
Send us the make, model and year. Adding a vehicle is normal work rather than a favour, and it is often the fastest way to find out whether a gap is a data problem or a naming mismatch.
